The General Pension and Social Security Authority (GPSSA) yesterday approved the draft budget of Dh 6.66 billion for the year 2010.
This compared to the Authority's 2009 budget of Dh 5.36 billion.
The 14th regular meeting was chaired by H.H Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al-Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, UAE Minister of Finance, Chairman of GPSSA.
Director General of GPSSA Muzaffar Al-Haj said Dh 1.556 billion will paid as pensions and benefits in the year 2010. – Emirates News Agency, WAM
